We are excited to host a Pop Up Art Gallery on March 28th in West Asheville!

As Asheville becomes more and more desirable, prices for real estate continues to rise.  This forward growth, though positive in a lot of ways, is pushing out artists.  Gallery space is increasing in price, rental studio space is in high demand and proving unaffordable to most, and large buildings once used to house artists are being sold and developed into housing, retail, etc.  It is unfortunate that the art culture that played a big part in boosting Asheville to fame is now struggling and being pushed out.

Though we have future plans of obtaining studio space to offer at affordable rates, we are also looking for ways to help the art community today.  We have 15+ artists participating in our first Pop Up Art Gallery, March 28th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm at 278 Haywood Rd (East West Venue).  We will have live music, food, and drink.  It will be a great opportunity to build community, meet the artists behind the work, shop a wide variety of mediums, and just have fun.
